Mr. Trouble....

Oh boy! Well these past few weeks since little bear has started walking have been crazy! I swear he changed from a baby to a little boy overnight :( He is crawling all over like crazy and pulling up on everything...As if that wasn't enough he is cruising all of the furniture & standing completely alone!! He is getting so brave with it, I would not be surprised if he walks by his first birthday if not sooner. Speaking of first birthday I think I am going to cry everytime I think about the fact he is almost one. Everyone tells you it flies by but man it REALLY does!

His favorite things to do lately are throwing things- everything & he actually will p lay catch & throw things back and forth he really has an arm on him! Touching everything he isn't supposed to- our shoes, Baileys toys, any electronic device possible it is like he knows what we don't want him to get and goes straight for it!

The other night Torrey came home and we were all playing and he was amazed at how much energy he had. He said man he is crazy tonight, i said Tonight!?! This is how he is all day everyday HAHA He definitely keeps us busy!

Oh and good news, Trenty had a follow up with the pediatric neurologist that he saw shortly after he was born. He said back then that he seemed completely normal at that early appointment and that was backed by his MRI also but he wanted to see him later just to check on him. Well he was right! He said Trenty is above a 12 month olds development and is just so pleased with his temperment. He said- Well, man you guys had a tough start but that is it! A tough start that ended up being completely fine...I said thank god, we are so lucky. He said- I would say you are blessed. He is so right. As hard as his start was it only made us stronger, and we have a VERY healthy, very happy, very busy baby boy!!! We just could not love him more!

What a big week for ME!

Trenty had such a big week! I am so proud of what a big boy he is becoming. First off, he FINALLY decided to crawl! He has been trying for weeks now but just too scared to take the leap so finally I just took him away from all of his toys & put his beloved water bottle out of reach & he did it! He looks so adorable crawling...However he is so exciting about crawling that he has been waking up several times a night crawling all over us! He looks so funny because he is asleep but just doesn't want miss out :)

Then I decided I was going to try and wean him off one of his 3 must haves. Nursing was out because he still needs it, paci was a big option but it really does help him sleep so I thought to try the bottle since he has been using a sippy cup for water/juice for a few months now. We went cold turkey and he is perfectly fine! Doesn't even know it is gone! I guess I just didn't want to end up trying to take everything away at once.

He had his 9 month check and although we waited for 30 minutes he entertained the entire lobby of people the whole time. He is such a HAM!!! He flirts with every girl, is just beyond excited by other kids and babies he loves them! He has a new look over the past few weeks that is just hilarious, it's like a nose scrunch/flare with his eyes squinted kind of like he is really cute & interested all at the same time. Well like always our pediatrician was very impressed with him, he calls him our "Miracle baby", which he defintely is. Now he is calling him Smiley the Miracle baby because all he does is smile. He said his personality at this age is really amazing. He is right on track with everything although I think he is advanced. haha Doesn't every parent? He was 19.13 lbs (35%) & 29.25in (79%) So he is tall & thin! He is still clapping every 5 seconds and now points at everything, also pulling up on everything which is scary. SO we are really baby proofing this weekend!!

Well my favorite part of the week was the new class we started! I took him to the little bugs class at The Little Gym! We just signed up for one to see if we liked it & we LOVED it!! So we signed up for the semester. We sang, danced, stretched, tumbled, crawled, pllayed with bubbles & a big tent. He just smiled the entire hour, we already met some nice friends! Cant wait until next week!

Happy 9 month birthday bubba!

I cannot believe he is already 9 months old...Time is FLYING!!! We spent the day hanging out with our good friends Leann, Justice & Londyn. He has he best time with the kids he loves being around them & learns so much! Him & Londyn are always kissing and hugging it is so cute. Also I am in the process of trying to decide on a theme for his 1st birthday...YIKES!!! Here are some pics from today, he is playing with daddy right now absolutely hysterically laughing. I hope everyone had a great 3 day weekend! Ours was so great- besides the very yucky weather! We spent the day with Grammy & Auntie Meg while daddy went to work for a bit. Trenty just lights up when he sees them, it makes me so happy. He is especially attached to that Grammy of his. We had a really fun lunch & then Torrey was able to get off early- we had so much fun just laughing and joking around. My mom is the best and bought us all lobster!! It was so nice not to have to cook dinner...And she cleaned too geez!

Having my mom around is the best, she is the most loving & giving person I have ever known. I am so thankful we have her, she does so much for Torrey, Trent & I. And I just LOVE seeing how happy Trent makes her. And Torrey and their fantasy football haha I only hope I can be half as good of mom as she is! (PS- I never have played fantasy football ever & they asked me to sign up for a playoff team...I AM WINNING!)

Trenty really is getting those 2 top teeth & it is HILARIOUS! It is just so cute, very painful when he bites though... I was worried he may have had an ear infection but we got him checked today & he is just fine. It is just the pain of teething.

He has been saying mama for awhile now but now he is just so into saying it. It is the first thing he says in the morning MAMA MAMA!! With a huge smile- the best feeling EVER & also when I have my attention away from him for anymore than 5 seconds... MAMA!!!! Still working on crawling but he is scooting around & getting where he wants to go. He will get it soon I am sure because he is right there!

ANOTHER tooth??

I almost forgot to mention in my first post that Trenty now is working on FOUR teeth! Torrey teased me for months and I am sure him & my mom thought I was crazy because I looked for his first tooth for 4 months. Seriously. Everyday I said "Any day now, I can tell", well at 7 months on Thanksgiving day he cut his first tooth, I think he just wanted to try the turkey! I was so happy about that tooth on the bottom I went on and enjoyed the two and never gave the top two a second thought...Until the day after Christmas he was biting away so I took a look and there was another one coming on top!!! I was shocked, so now he is working one teeth 3 & 4, they are so cute. Don't you worry I am working on pictures as soon as they are in more :) He is a biting machine, man those suckers are SHARP!!! Thank god for teething tablets & mesh feeders for frozen fruit! He is doing pretty well, I always feel so bad for him when he is just looking for anything to chew on!

Hello 2010!

Well anyone who knows me knows I am absolutely obsessed with taking pictures of our little guy Trent and documenting anything and everything I can in his life! I was inspired by some friends who have started blogging about their families so I figure we will give it a try! Our baby is growing up so fast, I don't want to miss a thing! In his little 8 1/2 month life I easily have 10,000 pictures of him and hundreds of home videos...I know, I know people probably think I am crazy! But he is changing everyday, it is easy to miss the little things.

So far our 2010 has been GREAT! Daddy is very busy at work which is always a great thing, but we do miss him with his long hours but appreciate his hard work so much! We had uncle Bradley spend almost 2 weeks with us which was AMAZING- that kid is the best and I love having him around! Trent adores him and he is just a natural with him I trust him with the baby more than I would most adults :) He is the biggest help, now I see why people have multiple children! Bradley & Torrey saw Avatar in 3D and loved it (Movies is their thing together) We always hate to send him home! I had my hands full after the holidays, saying Trent got spoiled is a huge understatement...I spent an entire day organzing his toys and clothes- packing away old clothes :( Saving all of that for a baby brother one day or cousin! He has been so fun to watch playing with all of his new things, although his favorite things seem to be the cheapest. I told Torrey we could have spent $5 on him and he would have loved it just the same!

Yesterday we spent time with our best friends Jamie, Raul & Jaden (FOOOOOOOTBALL & Mommy talk) We have the best time with them and Trent absolutley loves being around other kids he just has the best time! He loves to watch daddy go crazy over football & he has been clapping here and there but yesterday he did it when we said CLAP! It was so cute and he continued to clap all day just with the biggest smile. Torrey & I looked at each other and pouted! We are so happy he is learning new things it is obviously the best but then we get sad our little baby is growing up! I got some great video of him last night I am hoping I can post...And first thing this morning he looks at me with the biggest smile and.....starts to CLAP!!!! So cute.
